NJ Senate Panel To Mull Clean Car Incentives

Law360, New York (September 17, 2012, 5:50 PM ET) -- New Jersey officials this Thursday will be looking at expanding the state's portfolio of clean energy programs, with legislators set to mull a slew of bills intended to encourage the use of alternative fuel vehicles.

The Senate Environment and Energy Committee plans to field public testimony on so-called clean cars and consider at least 15 bills that propose a variety of incentives to spur their purchase and the development of related infrastructure. Most of the bills are up for discussion only.
