Law360, New York (September 21, 2012, 4:02 PM ET) -- A longtime corporate trial lawyer who was formerly a shareholder at McAfee & Taft PC has joined Oklahoma oil and gas giant Chesapeake Energy Corp. as the firm's new general counsel, Chesapeake said Friday.
James R. Webb joins the energy company's as its general counsel and also assumes the role of senior vice president for legal affairs, Chesapeake said. He had been with McAfee, the largest law firm in the state, since 1995.
Webb, who joined Chesapeake full time Friday, declined a request to be interviewed....
