DOI Extends Comment Period On New Pa. Coal Ash Standards

Law360, Philadelphia (September 24, 2012, 6:40 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior has extended the public comment period and scheduled public hearings for a controversial amendment allowing the “beneficial” use of coal ash in Pennsylvania in response to requests from two environmental groups, the agency said Monday.
