Law360, New York (September 27, 2012, 9:16 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Justice hit BP Products North America Inc. with a suit Thursday claiming the energy giant failed a pair of oil spill response tests at a terminal outside Baltimore, Md., where it stores millions of gallons of oil.
In a complaint filed in Maryland federal court, the government alleged BP failed to properly deploy oil-containing booms at two unannounced response tests at the Curtis Bay Terminal in summer and fall 2005.
