Law360, New York (October 17, 2012, 3:30 PM ET) -- A company owned by Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Josh Beckett that operates a deer hunting ranch in Texas accused two oil and gas pipeline companies Tuesday of putting the endangered ocelot at risk by clearing land for a new pipe at the ranch.
The lawsuit, filed by Beckett Ventures Inc. and Hall of Fame Land Ventures LP, claims Eagle Ford Midstream LP and NET Midstream LLC are violating the federal Endangered Species Act by harassing, harming, pursuing, wounding or killing ocelots through their pipeline construction project....
