Law360, New York (October 18, 2012, 5:07 PM ET) -- On Oct. 8, 2012, Gov. Tom Corbett signed into law legislation that will allow the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to lease mineral rights under land owned by state universities. The new law took effect immediately upon execution by the governor.
