Law360, New York (November 02, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A former Alaska lawmaker has been found guilty of taking at least $2,600 from an oil services company in exchange for his help with a natural gas pipeline bid at the state legislature.
On Thursday, a federal jury convicted former state representative Victor Kohring in connection with an alleged bribery scheme purportedly engineered by VECO Corp. executives to ensure lawmakers' support for a proposed pipeline.
