Law360, New York (January 10, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Following up on threats they made in December, nearly a dozen environmental groups on Thursday confirmed their plan to file suit against the Department of Energy over a power corridor development they claim violates several environmental laws.
Led by the National Wildlife Federation and the Piedmont Environmental Council, various regional and national environmental organizations said they would challenge the government's designation of a mid-Atlantic national interest electric transmission corridor.
