Law360, New York (January 11, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) lambasted the Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday for denying California's request to set its own limits on greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles and for refusing to explain its decision.
At a field briefing held in Los Angeles by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, Boxer called the EPA's decision illegal and said it must be overturned.
