Law360, New York (January 15, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Casting a skeptical glance toward some fuel crops that claim to be environmentally friendly, the European Union is planning to propose a draft law next week that would block imports of certain biofuels, The New York Times reported.
The law is aiming to ban the importation of fuels drawn from crops that grow in certain regions — including forests, grasslands and wetlands — into the 27-member European bloc, The New York Times reported on Tuesday.
