Law360, New York (July 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The Louisana Supreme Court has sent a dispute between M.J. Farms Ltd. and Exxon Mobil Corporation over the applicability of environmental legislation that was passed while the suit was pending back to a lower court, after finding that the application of Louisiana Act 312 to the case was not unconstitutional.
M.J. Farms sued approximately 25 defendants, including Exxon Mobil, Wagner Oil Company, and Benedict Corporation, which own the mineral rights, over environmental damages caused by mineral, oil and gas exploration on the property in April 2006....
