Law360, New York (July 30, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The Sierra Club on Tuesday put Energy Future Holdings Corp. and its subsidiary Luminant on legal notice for allegedly ignoring thousands of air pollution violations at Luminant's Martin Lake coal-fired facility in Texas.
Under the Clean Air Act, the Sierra Club is required to give Energy Holdings and Luminant, formerly known as TXU Corp., a 60-day notice before officially filing the lawsuit.
