Law360, New York (March 23, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Pacific Gas & Electric Co. has buried the hatchet with a California environmental group that sued the company over the alleged discharge of pollutants at a former plant in Santa Rosa, Calif. in violation of the Clean Water Act.
Magistrate Judge Edward M. Chen of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California signed off on the confidential settlement between PG&E and Northern California River Watch in court documents on Friday, and dismissed the case with prejudice.
