What GHG Reporting Portends For Industry

Law360, New York (April 02, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The past 30 days has seen several significant steps toward regulation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

On April 10, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed rulemaking requiring mandatory reporting of GHG emissions was published in the Federal Register. And on April 17, the agency issued the long-awaited GHG endangerment finding, a prerequisite to the agency developing emission limits and control requirements.
