Law360, New York (July 29, 2009, 1:46 PM ET) -- Environmental group Western Watersheds Project has gone to federal court in its fight with the U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management over a grazing permit for an Idaho range, claiming that continued grazing could severely impact sage-grouse, bull trout and other endangered species.
The complaint, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho, asks the court to overturn a recently reissued 10-year grazing permit that WWP alleges is detrimental to the massive Burnt Creek allotment.
