Law360, New York (August 04, 2009, 4:24 PM ET) -- On June 26, 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 (ACES, introduced as H.R. 2454), a bill "to create clean energy jobs, achieve energy independence, reduce global warming pollution and transition to a clean energy economy."
