Calif. River Group Sues Feds Over Mine Discharges

Law360, New York (September 09, 2009, 6:54 PM ET) -- An environmental group has accused the Bureau of Land Management of violating the Clean Water Act by not policing the activities of a now-bankrupt mining company that leased land from the bureau and went on to allegedly dump arsenic and other hazardous chemicals into nearby surface waters.
