US Seeks OK For $6M Ill. Contamination Settlement

Law360, New York (November 18, 2009, 1:29 PM ET) -- The federal government has asked a judge to approve a nearly $6 million settlement between it and several defendants, including Exxon Mobil Corp., in a long-running dispute over contamination from a former Monsanto Co. plant in southern Illinois.
