ITC Extends Mitsubishi Wind Turbine Investigation

Law360, New York (November 20, 2009, 1:32 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has agreed to extend its target date for completion of an investigation into whether variable-speed wind turbine parts imported by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. infringe two General Electric Co. patents.

ITC commissioners voted 5-0 on Thursday to give themselves 11 additional days to complete a review of GE’s Section 337 complaint against Mitsubishi, pushing the deadline to Dec. 18.
