Law360, New York (December 15, 2009, 11:53 AM ET) -- Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, is planning to introduce a legislative measure that would prevent the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act.
Murkowski said Monday that she will soon file a disapproval resolution in the Senate taking aim at the EPA's recently announced greenhouse gas endangerment finding, which paves the way for the agency to enact new light-vehicle emissions standards and begin monitoring greenhouse gas pollution from major industrial sources.
