Environmental Lawyers' Wish List For 2010

Law360, New York (January 02, 2010, 5:24 PM ET) -- Though it remains unclear whether the U.S. Congress will pass a climate bill before next year's midterm elections, lawyers who represent industry and those who work for conservation groups say they would like to see it happen.

When Law360 asked a handful of environmental attorneys and a carbon offset provider for their 2010 wish list, they all expressed their support for a cap-and-trade system for greenhouse gases, albeit for different reasons.
