Asset Managers Not Factoring In Climate Risks: Survey

Law360, New York (January 07, 2010, 6:26 PM ET) -- Very few of the world's largest asset managers are factoring climate-related risks and opportunities into their investment decision-making, according to a survey from investor and environmentalist network Ceres.

The survey, released Wednesday, looked at responses from 84 asset managers that manage a combined $8.6 trillion in assets and found that while a majority of asset managers are in the preliminary stages of including climate risks in their due diligence, only a small percentage are looking at a broader range of climate risks, such as potential regulations...
