Law360, New York (March 29, 2010, 7:05 PM ET) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said Monday that it will begin requiring the largest stationary sources of greenhouse gas emissions to apply for Clean Air Act permits covering GHGs starting in January.
The EPA issued its final decision on a time line for implementing the proposed regulation, which EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson called a “common sense plan for phasing in the protections of the Clean Air Act” that will give major facilities time to comply with the new rules.
