Feds Agree To Stay Yucca Mountain Shutdown

Law360, New York (April 14, 2010, 2:34 PM ET) -- The U.S. government has temporarily halted its efforts to shut down the Yucca Mountain site following a slew of objections, the latest coming in a lawsuit by Washington state alleging that the decision to kill plans to turn the site into a nuclear repository with no identified alternative puts people and the environment at risk.
