Law360, New York (April 16, 2010, 4:08 PM ET) -- More than 200 environmental and public interest organizations are urging the Obama administration to act on proposed coal ash regulation, worried that officials might be bending to pressure from the coal industry.
In a letter sent Thursday, 239 groups from across the U.S. asked President Barack Obama to act on a regulation to prevent disasters like the massive coal ash spill at the Tennessee Valley Authority's Kingston, Tenn., plant in 2008.
