Law360, New York (June 22, 2010, 7:41 PM ET) -- Current funding levels for the Superfund program won't be enough to clean up the more than 1,200 sites on the National Priorities List, according to a new report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office.
The report finds that cleanup costs will range from $335 million to $681 million a year for fiscal years 2010 to 2014, but that only $220 million to $267 million has been allocated each year for long-term cleanups over the past decade.
