Reps Slam USDA On Genetically Modified Alfalfa Rule

Law360, New York (June 24, 2010, 1:48 PM ET) -- More than 50 members of Congress are calling on the U.S. Department of Agriculture to rescind a draft environmental impact statement finding “no significant impact” from the use of genetically engineered alfalfa, in the wake of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling lifting an injunction on partial deregulation of the biotech crop.
