US Wins $8.3M Judgment For NH Superfund Site Costs

Law360, New York (June 25, 2010, 12:53 PM ET) -- The U.S. government has won an $8.3 million default judgment to cover response costs related to a 41-acre oil waste Superfund site in New Hampshire.

Judge Paul Barbadoro of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire entered a judgment Thursday against Red Hill Trust for $8,272,224 in favor of the government for all unrecovered response costs related to the Beede Waste Oil Superfund Site in Plaistow, N.H.
