Law360, New York (June 29, 2010, 12:06 PM ET) -- Exxon Mobil Corp. has agreed to pay $2.9 million to settle claims from Massachusetts environmental regulators that the oil giant improperly removed several emissions controls from two gasoline storage terminals.
The company also agreed to upgrade air pollution control systems at the two terminals as part of the settlement, which was approved by Justice Frances McIntyre of the Suffolk County Superior Court in Massachusetts on Monday.
