Industry Urges High Court To Nix Global Warming Suit

Law360, New York (September 03, 2010, 4:47 PM ET) -- Industry groups have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to shut down a suit that claims American Electric Power Co. Inc. and other utilities created a public nuisance and contributed to global warming through greenhouse gas emissions, arguing that the claims put industry at risk of liability without a defined standard.
