Law360, New York (January 20, 2011, 4:14 PM ET) -- The magistrate judge overseeing some 50 lawsuits against the Tennessee Valley Authority over a 2008 coal ash sludge spill has recommended denying class certification to area residents in two cases, deeming their property damage claims to be individualized and fact-specific.
