Judge Halts Massey Unit's Coal Mine Development

Law360, New York (March 09, 2011, 6:49 PM ET) -- A federal judge in West Virginia slapped Massey Energy Co. unit Highland Mining Co. with a temporary restraining order Wednesday barring the company from continuing to bury more than two miles of Appalachian streams for its new surface coal mine.
