Law360, New York (March 23, 2011, 5:26 PM ET) -- A California appeals court on Tuesday shot down a bid by two Los Angeles County cities to cut funding for a $3.7 billion tunnel project to connect freeways, saying that the funds do not trigger the need for an environmental review.
The Court of Appeal of the State of California, Second Appellate District, upheld a lower court's determination that a plan to construct a tunnel to connect Southern California freeways is not a project subject to an environmental review.
