Law360, New York (April 27, 2011, 7:35 PM ET) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency launched a suit in South Carolina on Tuesday accusing specialty chemical supplier Albemarle Corp. of violating federal emissions standards for air pollution and other environmental regulations in its production of certain pharmaceutical products.
Albemarle has failed to operate, monitor and keep accurate records of several chemical composition processes in accordance with the pharmaceutical maximum achievable control technology standards in violation of the Clean Air Act, according to the complaint filed by Assistant U.S. Attorney R.
