Law360, New York (July 08, 2011, 6:51 PM ET) -- Truck manufacturer Navistar Inc. sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington on Tuesday, seeking to force the agency to use tougher standards when testing its competitors' trucks for nitrogen oxide emissions.
The suit comes on the heels of another complaint filed by Navistar in April that seeks to force the agency to recall its competitors' model year 2010 trucks, claiming the vehicles were not properly tested. Navistar first sued the EPA over nitrogen oxide emissions in 2009.
