Law360, Los Angeles (April 11, 2012, 5:52 PM ET) -- California lawmakers pushed along a measure Tuesday that would require oil and gas companies to provide advance notice of hydraulic fracturing operations to nearby property owners and residents.
The state Senate Natural Resources Committee approved the measure, one of several bills being considered that would regulate the controversial method for extracting natural gas and oil.
