Apex Wind Breaks Ground On 300-MW Okla. Project

Law360, New York (May 24, 2012, 11:43 AM ET) -- Wind power developer Apex Wind Energy Inc. has begun construction of a 300-megawatt wind project that will be the largest wind farm in Oklahoma once it is completed, the company said Wednesday.

The Charlottesville, Va.-based firm said it recently broke ground on the $470 million Canadian Hills Wind project, which is located just outside Oklahoma City. Apex Wind is the developer of the wind project, which is majority owned by Boston-based independent power producer Atlantic Power Corp.
