Law360, New York (May 25, 2012, 3:54 PM ET) -- Syngenta Crop Protection Inc. has agreed to pay $105 million to as many as 2,000 municipal water systems to settle class action allegations that its herbicide tainted water supplies, the company said Friday.
Syngenta will set up a fund from which claims will be paid to water systems that show “any measurable concentration of atrazine in its raw or finished water," according to the terms of the proposed settlement.
