CES Settles Houston Residents' $15M Suit Over Toxic Fumes

Law360, Chicago (May 25, 2012, 5:45 PM ET) -- Defunct CES Environmental Services Inc. on Wednesday settled a suit brought by a group of Houston-area residents seeking up to $15 million in damages over the company's allegedly unlawful hazardous waste operations, resolving the matter roughly one week ahead of trial.

The deal, revealed in a May 23 docket entry saying that the case has been settled and held for judgment, will resolve the suit residents living near the CES Houston facility launched in January 2009 in which they accused the company of violating state regulations...
