Law360, Wilmington (July 13, 2012, 6:19 PM ET) -- Evergreen Solar Inc. received court approval Friday for its Chapter 11 liquidating plan that will wind down the Massachusetts-based panel maker and leave its few remaining assets in the care of an administrator.
Since seeking protection in August 2011, Evergreen has been joined in Delaware bankruptcy court by fellow panel manufacturers Solyndra LLC and Abound Solar Inc., both of which sought protection despite receiving federal loan guarantees, as well as plant developer Solar Trust of America LLC and its German parent Solar Millennium AG.
