Calif. Panel Set To Take Up Clean Tech Bill For Vehicles

Law360, San Diego (February 01, 2013, 6:40 PM ET) -- A California Assembly committee on Monday afternoon will consider a bill that seeks to extend three state programs to improve air quality and invest in clean technology and renewable fuel for cars, trucks and other vehicles, but an anti-tax group claims the measure would force car owners to pay billions of dollars in fees.
