Mining Cos. Ask High Court To Decide NEPA Standing Fight

Law360, New York (February 01, 2013, 8:38 PM ET) -- Two mining companies — whose economic interests in Idaho’s Payette National Forest prohibited them from challenging a U.S. Forest Service road plan, according to the Ninth Circuit — last week asked the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse that finding and allow their complaint about the plan to proceed.
