Law360, Philadelphia (April 04, 2013, 5:06 PM ET) -- Fees paid by fracking well operators in Pennsylvania under new state regulations fell by about 3 percent last year as gas prices dropped, new data released Wednesday by the state’s Public Utility Commission showed.

So-called impact fees generated under comprehensive new oil and gas regulations in Pennsylvania known as Act 13 fell from just over $204 million in 2011, the first year the fees were assessed, to about $198 million in 2012.
