BrightSource Shelves 500-MW Hidden Hills Solar Project

Law360, New York (April 05, 2013, 3:11 PM ET) -- Renewable energy company BrightSource Energy Inc. has put its Hidden Hills solar project in California's Inyo County on an indefinite hold, making it the second solar plant this year to be shelved by the firm, according to a California regulatory filing by BrightSource on Wednesday.

The firm asked the California Energy Commission to suspend its application for Hidden Hills. The CEC approved the suspension Friday, according to the agency's docket for the project.
