DOI Dodges Suit Over Calif. Drainage Project In 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (April 5, 2013, 5:12 PM ET) -- The Ninth Circuit on Friday said the U.S. Department of the Interior is not obligated to compensate a pair of California water districts over claims that poor drainage in the state’s massive Central Valley Project causes low-quality water flow downstream.
