NY Lawmakers Pass LIPA Reforms, Solar Development Bill

Law360, New York (June 21, 2013, 1:49 PM EDT) -- New York state lawmakers approved sweeping changes to the oft-pilloried Long Island Power Authority on Thursday, voting to strip LIPA of its oversight over Long Island's power grid, while the state Assembly passed a solar development bill that will have to be meshed with the Senate's version.
