Donziger Denied Jury Trial In $19B Chevron Fight

Law360, New York (October 07, 2013, 11:57 AM ET) -- Next week’s long-awaited trial in Chevron Corp.’s racketeering suit over an unprecedented $19 billion Ecuadorean pollution judgment will not go before a jury, after a New York judge ruled on Monday that the company’s release of monetary damages eliminates any constitutional jury right.
