NYC OKs E-Cig Curbs, Possible Foam Food-Packaging Ban

Law360, New York (December 19, 2013, 7:07 PM ET) -- In a flurry of year-end activity, the New York City Council on Thursday passed two pieces of legislation favored by outgoing Mayor Michael Bloomberg: One that adds e-cigarettes to the city law banning smoking in restaurants, parks and on beaches and another that could ban foam food containers in 2015 if recycling can't be implemented.
