Argentina Lodges WTO Dispute Over EU Biodiesel Duties

Law360, New York (December 19, 2013, 4:00 PM ET) -- Argentina's foreign ministry has filed a World Trade Organization complaint alleging the European Union's anti-dumping duties on biodiesel imports are unfair, unlawful and will harm Argentine exporters, the ministry said Thursday.

In a statement released on the ministry's website Thursday, the Argentine foreign ministry said the imposed duties were "purely protectionist" and that they would cause financial loss to the Argentine biodiesel industry.
