EPA Serves Greka With 4th Enforcement Order

Law360, New York (March 25, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Greka Oil and Gas Inc. has been served with its fourth U.S. Environmental Protection Agency enforcement order this year and faces fines of up to $32,500 per day if it does not immediately clean up a polluted California site.

The order, announced Monday, stems from a number of leaks at Greka's Williams B Lease, an idle tank farm that was never brought into service.
